Crystal and I have been married for 20 years. We dated for 5 years before that, and became friends 5 years before that. 30 years of hanging out. For the past 15 years or since kids, we’ve been on one trip with just the two of us for longer than a weekend away. We did a ten year road trip and Covid shot a fifteen year anniversary trip in the foot.

This year we set out to take that long overdue trip. Just the two of us. Spain was the spot and Barcelona and Madrid were the specific destinations. Today they get added to the “travel log” page:

This month I’ve rolled out a new section on the project page to share and catalog the sites, sounds, and taste of the places we visit. Soccer has been a big driver of that. In the past three years we visited Greenville, Los Angeles, London, Manchester, San Diego, Sarasota, and in June this year Seattle. That trip gets the first travel log treatment here today.

Stealing the opportunity to test video to gif from Mike, of a trip we took to Great Falls National Park during the kids spring break earlier this month. “Billy Goat Trail” is an awesome medium to hard hike on the way to beautiful 360 views of the falls. Worth a visit.
