Last year I posted about Open Mike Eagle’s show The New Negroes, without knowing I was one YouTube dive away from discovering Langston Kerman. Sliding doors man, sliding doors. Well thankfully Zack Fox and Jak Knight led me to Kerman on Bust Down, almost exactly a year later. I was sold, but didn’t know where I might get more. Jump to this summer when David Gborie (All Fantasy Everything) joined Langston’s podcast, My Momma Told Me, as co-host. My favorite podcast this year, hands down. All signs point me being a big fan, but of course I missed when he he came to Richmond and did stand up this fall! Next time.
